Our cancellation page briefly defines cancellation and refund terms from both the organizer and participants.
EVENT CANCELED BY AVENTOURO
You will get a full refund if the event is canceled by the organizer. This may happen due to (but not limited to) extreme weather when the safety of participants could be compromised (e.g. thunderstorms, wind storms, ice etc.). A little rain, snow or cold are not reasons for canceling the trip. As you go hiking, take appropriate waterproof clothes and shoes.
We can’t guarantee you good weather, but we check the weather forecast every time before the tour and decide carefully whether it is still safe to make the event happen.
Cancellation can happen also due to the sudden illness of the organizer(s) or tour guide, or the number of participants doesn’t reach the required minimum for the trip to go ahead.
If the tour is canceled by an organizer, your total amount will be refundable within 5 business days.
EVENT CANCELED BY PARTICIPANT
The customer does not pay cancellation fees if he/she arranges a substitute for a trip.
We kindly ask you to let us know as soon as possible if you are not able to participate in our tour
We require an immediate cancellation notice if your plans change, otherwise, we will charge you cancellation fee as below.
50% of your total amount will be charged if you do not inform us of your cancellation or any changes by 72 hours before your scheduled tour.
100% of your total amount will be charged if you do not inform us of your cancellation or any changes by 48 hours before your scheduled tour or No show.
Weekend or multi-day tour
The participant usually pays an only deposit for the trip and pays the rest in cash to our guide.
50% of your total deposit will be charged if you do not notify us of your cancellation or any changes by 144 hours before your scheduled tour.
100% of your total deposit will be charged if you do not notify us of your cancellation or any changes by 120 hours before your scheduled tour or No show
